2. INTRODUCTION to AAAAtal Amrit Abhiyan, set up vide Cabinet Memorandum no. HLA.995/2016, was launched on 25th December, 2016 in the State of Assam and the scheme cashless was launched on 18th April, 2018. The State Government announced implementation of Atal Amrit Abhiyan, a Health Assurance Scheme, for providing cashless treatment and coverage of critical care targeted at the BPL population and Low income households during the Budget Speech 2016-17.a) Cardiovascular diseases b) Cancerc) Kidney diseases d) Neo natal diseasese) Neurological conditions f) Burns The total sum assured is Rs.2 lakhs per person per year. The Scheme is free for BPL people For individuals having annual family income of Rs.5.0 lakhs or less, the beneficiaries will be charged Rs.100/- per person per year. The Scheme covers the treatment for the following diseases:

3. VISTARITA AAAThe Atal Amrit Abhiyan Scheme was expanded and Vistarita Atal Amrit Abhiyan was implemented vide Govt. Order No. HLA.681/2019/128 dated 25th Oct, 2019 to include the following specialties:ICU 2. Trauma 3. Critical Care Paediatrics 4. Paediatric Surgery5. Japanese Encephalitis & Acute Encephalatis Syndrome 6. Supplementary PackagesTill 15th Dec, 2020, 4307 numbers of beneficiaries have been admitted under Vistarita Atal Amrit Abhiyan.

4. INTRODUCTION to PMJAY The Scheme provides comprehensive coverage of up-to Rs. 5 lacs/family per year for secondary and tertiary care treatment. PMJAY covers 27 Lakhs poor and vulnerable families (1.25 crore individuals approximately) in the State of Assam which have been identified in the SECC Census 2011 data. PMJAY was launched in the state of Assam along with the rest of the country on 23 September, 2018.

ALLOWANCES under both the SchemesProvision of Transport Allowance @Rs.300/- per visit to the empanelled hospital subject to an annual ceiling of Rs.3000/- per year within the State and for outside State treatment, a daily allowance of Rs.1,000/-per visit to the empanelled hospital is provided up to a limit of Rs.10,000/- per year.Air fare for the beneficiary and one attendant with a cap of Rs.30,000/- per annum is also provided for treatment outside the State. Incentive are provided to the members of the medical team involved in a procedure/package in case of treatment of a patient under AAA/PMJAY. The honorarium amount would not exceed 20% of the concerned package rate.
