E.g. chemicals, cardboard, sharps etc.Are they being managed? e.g. free of overflowing bins, over accumulation of waste and incorrect disposal EMERGENCYFirst aid box: available and contains leaflet, plasters, wipes, cooling gel, dressings, bandages?Eye wash bottles: available, unused and in date?Emergency showers and eye wash showers: flushing records showing a monthly 2 minute test?Hazardous spill kit: available and located appropriately?Gas sensor: inspection in date?When does the Diphoterine go out of date?PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENTAre lab coats, safety glasses and correct gloves being used, in good condition and stored correctly?Are heat/cold resistance gloves and face visors being used, in good condition and stored correctly?RISK AND HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE ASSESSMENTAre they available, up to date and being followed?
