Who We are

The Duke Club is the fundraising arm for James Madison University Athletics. Through our Annual Fund, we raise contributions to support our over 400 student-athletes and the athletic budget. We also aide JMU Athletics in facility enhancements and other needs through capital campaigns. Through this financial support, we are the key avenue for supporters to be an active part of JMU Athletics'

Mission:

JMU Athletics contributes to a vibrant University, community and student experience. Through

Our

resolute commitment to excellence, service, inclusiveness and engagement

,

We

generate pride, passion and national exposure for the University. Central

to

Our

mission is ensuring an exemplary student-athlete experience emphasizing academic achievement, personal development, social responsibility and competitive excellence.

About our Membership

As a Duke Club member, you directly contribute to the educational opportunities of the student-athletes representing James Madison University. Each and every season, Duke Club members witness their impact first hand as JMU student-athletes routinely compete as champions both in the

classroom and on

the playing field

.

2015 Duke Club Goals:

The Duke Club has achieved phenomenal growth in recent years with a 95% increase in fundraising over the last five years. Increases in membership and overall funds raised have allowed JMU Athletics to privately fund more student-athlete scholarships and provide more resources for critical areas such as equipment, travel, and recruiting. This growth is a reflection of JMU alumni and fans' immense passion for the Dukes, and their willingness to support our mission. We will continue to move forward through the generosity of our current donors and the addition of new Duke Club members to achieve our 2015 goals:

$2.2 Million Annual Fund Gifts

4,750 Duke Club Members

Retain 75% of Current Donors
