Illness - what parents need to know …If a student is ill on the day of an exam tell the school immediately. Get a self certification form, (JCQ/ME Form 14) from reception or a Doctor’s note & give it to Mrs Bond asap.A student should try to turn-up & write in an exam when ill - the board will use a JCQ/ME Form 14 or Doctor’s note to make allowance for poor performance. If you believe there are extenuating circumstances affecting your child’s performance - let the exam team know directly.
