Spring and Fall 2013 Kimble Evan Evan Economos Untitled The sculpture I was inspired by was T8 by Mark di Suvero That sculpture is made out of industrial girders and just exuded movement to me It was all red and to me it looked like they were bursting out of a single point My goal for the project was to make a sculpture that was visually pleasing yet conveyed a definite idea The idea is that creativity overcomes blandness This idea is signified by the grey outside being blandness and the bright pink exploding out.
