The annual assessment of your academic performance –
based on number of credits completed (pass or fail). You must meet the minimum CGPA requirement each year to remain and continue in BIB.
Slide4When Is APE Calculated?
An annual assessment of your performance happens after winter term.
In early June, decision is posted in your Carleton Central account under Student Records/myProgress (APE).Courses taken in summer fall and winter are used in APE calculation.
Slide5Outcomes of APE Evaluation
The possible outcomes of the evaluation include:
Good Standing (GS): CGPA requirements are metContinue in BIBAcademic Warning (AW): below the CGPA requirement by no more than 1.0-point. Continue in BIB for at least one more yearContinue in Alternate (CA): below the CGPA requirement by more than 1.0-point OR was previously AW and did not meet the required CGPA
