Wall Panel specicationFibo | A smart way to tranform your wallSystem DescriptionFibo bathroom wall panel is a watertight lining system based on plywood panels coated with high-pressure laminate on the front side and a balancing backer on the rear side. The panels are made from plywood and consist of 7 sheets of wood according to NS-EN 13986, glued with waterproof adhesive. The front of the panels is covered with 0,6-0,8 mm high-pressure laminate, and the backside is covered with a 0,2-0,24 mm thick balancing layer. Standard dimensions are 2400 mm length and 600 mm width. Panel thickness is 10,2 mm. The density is 790 kg/m³. Selected decors are also available in 2720 mm and 3020 mm length. The panel is designed for use in washrooms, wet rooms, showers and other areas with excessive water exposure. Panels are available in dierent nishes depending on the colour chosen: Silk (S) Gloss (G) High Gloss (HG) Extra Matt (EM) SC (Saw Cut) Cement (C) Rustic (RU) Stone (STN). Please see producers catalogue for full collection overview (bosystem.com). StorageStore panels at, under cover in dry conditions with decorative surfaces facing each other. Panels must be conditioned at room temperature for 3 days prior to installation and the moisture content 15%.WarrantyProvide manufacturer’s 15 year warranty for colour fastness, water tightness and stain resistance. Product SpecicationsPanels consist of wooden core material covered with a decorative high-pressure laminate (HPL) on the front face and a balancing backer on reverse side. Fabricate panels in accordance with EN 324 part 1 for tolerances as follows:Length +/- 2.0mm Width +/- 0.5mm Thickness +/- 0.4mm Dierence from level +/- 0.3mm Curving Convex (width direction) 1.0mm Fibo | A smart way to tranform your wallCurving Concave (width direction) 3.0mm Joint Opening Wet room 0.5mm; Dry room 0.7mm EXECUTIONInstallation Fibo can be installed on existing walls or directly onto stud partitioning, either with horisontal strips on framing, or directly on to the frame. The vertical studs should be positioned at distances of 600 mm in width and 800 mm in height (between the vertical studs). When installing our panels, the underlying surface should be level and provide a good grip for screws at panel joints. If the panels are installed directly onto studs, the wall must be reinforced in places where sinks or other wall units are mounted. When installing Fibo on a xed wall you can use these alternatives:12-15 mm Plywood18 mm rough panels (mounted horizontally c/c 300 mm)15 mm OSB Class 370- or 100 mm steel studs, positioned at distances of 600 mm in width and 800 mm in height (between the vertical studs).Cleaning and ProtectionDaily / weekly cleaning:Alkaline - neutral detergent with pH value 7-10 and lukewarm waterLess frequent cleaning:Against deposits, lime, rust and irr use "acid" detergent with pH 1-5 and cold water. Aviscous detergent that hangs on vertical surfaces can also be used.Residues of soap and skin fatUse "acid" detergent with pH 3-5.Or use "spray products" that dissolve fat - or careful use of "scouring creams".Aluminium Proles There should be no corrosion as long as the pH of the detergent is above 4 or below 9. If chlorine is used on the proles and rinses clean afterwards, it should also work well. Alkaline cleaner should be used with caution. There are mild alkaline cleaners designed for cleaning aluminum.
