Decide where you are counting and how you are coding the ballotsThe Secretary of the State advises one of the following methods as a way to estimate the volume of Election Day registration ballots in your town: (1) the number of Presidential ballots cast in 2012, or (2) a general prediction of 2.5 to 5% increase in voter participation over projected voter turn out. For a more customized prediction of your town's potential EDR volume we advise you to calculate 2.5-5% increase based on your towns actual 2010 voter turnout %.http://www.sots.ct.gov/sots/lib/sots/electionservices/lead_communications/2014/oct_20_2014_estimation_of_edr_by_town.pdf
