SOFTWARE REQUIRED FOR WIRELESS ACCESS The following software is needed to access the wireless network on campus: • Only Windows Vista/7/8 is supported for use on campus. • Windows XP CANNOT be used and is not supported. • Supported Browsers for Windows: • Internet Explorer • Mozilla Firefox ( Most Recommended ) • Google Chrome Having more than one browser is recommended. • Anti virus is required on

5 campus. • Windows users can use free
campus. • Windows users can use free AV software from Avast !, Microsoft Security Essentials (recommended) or some other vendor. • Windows 8 and 8.1 comes with Windows Defender built in and does not need additional anti virus protection. • OS X 10.10 Yosemite is supported with some caveats. • Yosemite is known to cause issues with the NBME and COMAT browsers . When taking these style of exams it

To start, click ”Control Panel” from the Windows menu. To get to the ”Control Panel” in Windows 8, press ”Windows Key” + X and select ”Control Panel” from the context menu.
