Role Definition: By definition this is
multi-faceted
with a myriad of tasks and duties associated with it. Essentially a building engineer deals with
everything from the design of the construction project to being on hand during the daily construction activities, to ensure that everything is going according to plan. Depending on the particular project involved, the role of the building engineer can vary enormously although there can also be a great deal of continuity between jobs, especially if the engineer concerned is a specialist in one particular area.
