Please provide your child with food money for their travel days on Wednesday and Sunday and also for souvenirs if needed

Your child will need a driver’s license ID or passport if they are over 18 and a school ID if they do not have an ID etc.

We were giving out the flight itineraries and rooming information at the end of the meeting, if you didn’t pick your child’s info up please email Jill Wetter at jwetter@ngksparkplugs.com. The kids can store their luggage in the Tuba room during the day on 1/31/2018. The kids will be checked in as a group at Delta check in. The Disney luggage tags will be given to each child and must be put on their luggage before they load the busses at 1pm on 1/31/2018. Also please make sure you check your child’s bags contents and sign the bag waiver and send it to school with your child.

The itinerary is a guideline that we will follow given our performance time and scheduled workshop time (a more detailed itinerary will be given to chaperones before the trip at the chaperone meeting on January 23 on 7pm with Pam Dearth).Slide3

Disney Itinerary

1/29/2018 – After Disney practice the trailer will be loaded with full uniforms (including shakos and dingles, etc) and instruments going to Disney

1/31/2018 – All kids report to band room by 12:39pm(5

th

hour) busses will load at 1pm with luggage for their trip with tour guides and chaperones. Kids must pack any medicines they need in their luggage and they will need their parental luggage check waivers signed. We will provide luggage tags for all kids flying with the band to Disney. In the morning the kids luggage can be stored in the Tuba room in the band room in the morning.

1/31/2018 – All kids not traveling with the band and tour guides need to arrive at the All Star Music Resort at Disney by 9pm with your child’s bag waiver and sign in with Jill Wetter in the lobby (248-705-5645), the group has to check in all together.

2/1/2018 – after breakfast we will go to the Magic Kingdom

2/1/2018 – 12:45pm all band members rally at a designated point to be escorted by a Disney member to our truck to unload and get dressed for our performance at 2:30pm

2/1/2018 – 2:30pm WLCMB marches at Disney!

2/1/2018 – spend the rest of the day at Disney Magic Kingdom

2/2/2018 – 7:30am leave hotel for Disney Hollywood Studios for “You’re Instrumental” workshop

2/2/2018 - 9am-11:30am “You’re Instrumental” workshop

2/2/2018 – 11:30am go to Disney Animal Kingdom

2/3/2018 – after breakfast go to Universal Studios all day

2/4/2018 – after breakfast, check out is 11am, store luggage at hotel, can go to downtown Disney till 1pm with chaperones then return to the hotel to go to the MCO airport
