Please note that the text, added after the fact, covers only essentials and was, at the conference, elaborated a great deal to capture the nuance and complexity of classical pedagogy. This PowerPoint is designed to provide the learner a basic sketch of some of the points discussed at the conference. . Practitioners today have enough experience in UI design that they have been exposed to design rules but it is essential that they understand the psychology behind the rules in order to effectively apply them.
