GVK bid 2014 adieu with the much deserved honour for Outstanding Contribution towards Airports and CSR at the 5th EPC World Awards 2014 held in New Delhi. GVK CSIA was conferred the award for outstanding contribution towards Airports under the Infrastructure category. GVK EMRI was recognised for outstanding company contribution towards CSR under the Special Achievement category. The awards were presented amidst a gathering of industry stalwarts from the Infrastructure and EPC domain. Some other winners included Tata Projects, Engineers India Ltd and Larsen & Toubro in the EPC category, Mumbai Metro One Pvt Ltd, Power Finance Corporation Ltd and Adani Ports & SEZ Ltd in their respective Infrastructure categories, Lodha Developers and Emaar MGF Construction Pvt Ltd in the Real Estate category, and Tata Steel Ltd and JCB India Ltd, in the Construction category. The knock-out format tournament was played under categories of Men’s and Women’s doubles. A total of 48 teams participated across all business verticals at GVK BIO. The matches were a complete entertainer, attracting lot of cheer from the crowd. The winners in both the categories were from Informatics BU with Sahiti Sistla and Aastha Saxena in the Women’s category and Phaneendra Palla and Aravind Kurnool in the Men’s category emerging as undisputed badminton champions of GVK BIO. GVK EMRI-Meghalaya participates in Dimchrang Festival GVK EMRI–Meghalaya operations were invited by the South West Garo Hills District Administration to participate in the carnival for the Dimchrang Festival held at Ampati. GVK EMRI 108 emergency Service Ambulance base in Ampati participated in the carnival where the pre-hospital care was re-enacted after which the team conducted a free BP check at the venue on the �rst day of the festival. The Ampati base 108 Team was awarded the third prize for pre hospital care re-enactment during the carnival. GVK EMRI-D&NH adds four ambulancesGVK EMRI-D&NH added four new ambulances to its existing �eet at a formal event where top dignitaries exchanged MoUs and �agged off ambulances. The pilots were handed over ambulance keys and EMT kits. The addition of these ambulances would further enhance the emergency response mechanism in these UTs. Ambulance launch Dadar and Nagar HaveliOur Founder Chairman and Managing Director, Dr GVK Reddy felicitating the best performers at the National Review Meet GVK EMRI-Himachal Pradesh launched 45 new 102 ambulances.
