We maintain a fully staffed imported semen distribution facility and liquid nitrogen production center, complete animal feed mill in Mogadishu, Somalia. In the coming months we will plan to set up feed analysis laboratory and milk processing plant with prober cold chains.

) is located in Mogadishu, Banadir region. SBG was formed as a means to improve dairy cows subsector with a vision to become the center of excellence for dairy producers in Somalia driving consumers health and exceeding their expectations

will help local dairy farmers through livestock, forage program, herd health, reproductive management, breeding, genetics, nutrition management, selection program and adding values to their end product.
The proprietor
SBG
have acquired 40 hectors farm land in Afgoye 30KM South West of Mogadishu in order to grow Rhodes grass, Lucerne, Napier and corn for silage production. Irrigation will be done from Shabelle River by both flood and sprinkler systems.

Increase supply of pasteurized milk production in order to address the demand of Mogadishu’s evolving urbanization
Quality milk deliveries at Mogadishu with investing in cold chains in order to extend the shelf life of the milk.
Reduce the reliance of weather pattern by ensuring constant increased fodder production. This is important, as it will reverse negative effect of milk producer’s animal as well as the production of milk.
Ensure increased production capacity by improving local animal genetics.
