Why Do This Report?

Myth:

Agencies often viewed as a drain

.

Agencies make too many requests for sponsorships,

auction items, donations.

Agencies

spend too much on fund-raising.

Reality:

A

gencies

are an asset.

Agencies get resources

from a wide array of sources

and

spend the money wisely.

Agencies pump

money into the local economy

and

help people who

struggle

to help themselves.Slide5

A Deeper Look

I

nclude

all

MCIAC members.

Be more Martin County-centric.

I

nclude a closer look at revenue and expenses, such as: Where are those grants coming from – state, federal local?

Survey all MCIAC members,

especially

those

who do not file 990s or whose 990s

encompass more

than Martin County. Slide17
