Clothing Traditions: Men: Men wear a qmis (male dress) and turbans for religious tradition. They demonstrate a look of royalty. Also, a hat or turban to cover their head and a long beard is necessary.
Clothing Traditions Continued.. Women Women wear burqas which cover entire bodies except eyes. Women’s clothing emphasize a wife-look because women save beauty for their husbands.
Culture represented through clothing... They like everything to be modest. Men usually wear clothing to cover their whole body except their forehead and feet for prayer. Women usually wear a burqa that covers them from their head to below their knees. They are not supposed to wear casual clothes (jeans, t-shirts) because it is “too western” for their culture.
