Learning Enhancement & Academic Development Service (LEADS)
A blended learning/flipped workshop (via Moodle + 2-hour workshop)
Training, guidance and support also provided by your College, School and/or SubjectOverall a total minimum of six hours training

Designed to help GTAs:
reflect on your role as a GTA within the context of learning and teaching in higher education
explain some of the ways in which students learn
help
recognise
common challenges experienced by GTAs in their teaching and ways in which they may adapt their practice in response
identify university support services that are available to assist students.
DAT HE follows on from GTA ILTHE training and is hosted by LEADS
Focuses on topics of learning, teaching and assessment, relevant to early career teachers in HE
Eligibility
30 hours minimum teaching-related activity, including 10 hours teaching time)Two assignments (plus formative tasks)

Academic staff who may be new to teaching and/or supporting learning, or who have a limited teaching portfolio.
