A few high lightsIn many countries, the same organization is responsible for both policy and implementation in the areas of animal health, environment and food compared to research and innovation.

Less common is that one organization is responsible for both policy and implementation of AMR-related research and innovation is.It can be noted that in Belgium, the ministry responsible for health matters, take responsibility for AMR-issues to a larger extent than is obvious for other countries.

National contact points at ministries and national agencies are collected for AMR:

,

There is a national cooperation function for AMR that involves more than 20 government agencies and non-state actors. The work is based in a Government commission that also tasked the function to update and implement a national action plan on AMR, in line with the Swedish strategy against AMR.
