GEWG has kept conducting quarterly meetings;
Voluntary hosting by WG members has continued
One big achievement- members advocated and supported the review of the GEP- this is also following the SA for the GEP. Girl Hub consulted different girls on the GEP and hope their feedback with inform the policy

Working on inputs to guide the teachers training on the role out of the new Curriculum – focusing on SRHR
Continued discussions on need to strengthen and support the
Girls Room Initiative by MINEDUC
; Action Aid has supported the construction of 4 girls rooms in Nyanza as demonstration rooms, Plan Rwanda/YWCA supporting GRs in
Bugesera
and
Nyaruguru
; VSO is undertaking tendering process to build 3 equipped girls rooms at three target schools in
Nyaruguru

) and is training teachers parents and girls (

GBV still a concern of the WG members; organizations supporting establishment of anti-GBV Clubs in schools (AI)
Men engage approaches/Positive masculinities initiated in schools and making huge impact- Plan/RWAMREC
