Quick Score Entry Method

The Quick Score method allows you to enter scores within the Box Score page of each game.

The Manager of the winning team enters the score on the website. Then that score and Innings Pitched (IP) is checked by the Division Scorekeeper.Slide4

Quick Score Entry Method – Edit Mode

Edit Mode must be turned to “On” in order to enter/update scores

Click the

Quick Score

button to enter the Final Score of the game.

Remember to change Game Status to “Final”

You may also enter the name of the Manager or Scorekeeper in the Comments boxSlide6

Edit Stats

button to enter the pitcher’s Innings Pitched (IP).

Note:

Once you enter stats, the

Quick

Score feature can no longer be used, so be sure to enter that info first before entering stats. Slide7

Entering Innings Pitched

After clicking the

Edit Stats

button, the following screen comes up:

Then scroll down to the “Pitcher Stats” section for each team:

Select the Pitcher(s) from the drop-down, then enter their IP in the box in the IP column. Whole Innings only. (Even 1 pitch = 1 IP). Be sure to scroll down and click “Save Stats” after you’ve entered all players’ IPSlide8

Mass Entry Scoring

Mass Entry scoring allows you to enter multiple game scores and modify scheduling details (date and time of game) through a single interface. Likely to only be used by Division Scorekeepers and Admins.

Mass Entry Scoring Filters

Use the filters at the top of the page to narrow down the results displayed on the page.

Filter By

Team

Game Status (e.g. Scheduled, Final, Postponed)

Date (All, Today, Yesterday, Custom)Slide10

Mass Entry Scoring – Game Management

Select the game you would like to manage simply by clicking on the field you are going to edit.

To change the date or time of a scheduled game, type in the date or time field highlighted below:Slide11

Entering the score of the the score of the game automatically changes the status from

Scheduled

to

In Progress

To change the status of a game from

In Progress

to

Final, click the drop-down menu highlighted below:

To expand the details of the game, click More Details Slide12

By clicking

Edit

Stats, you’ll be able to enter the pitcher’s Innings Pitched (IP).

Click the Team Name >

Enter Pitcher’s Name > Enter Innings Pitched > Click Save Pitcher > Click Yellow CheckmarkSlide14

Mass Entry Scoring – Accept Changes

IMPORTANT: Be sure to accept all changes made

The program will detect any changes made and turn the gray checkmark to yellow, indicated changes are pending.

Clicking the yellow checkmark accepts the changes and turns the indicator to green. Edits can always be made later if needed. Slide15

SportsEngine Mobile App

Download the SportsEngine Mobile App from

the Apple App Store or Google Play store.

Launch the app and Login

to your SportsEngine account. Slide16

Search for the Hockomock Summer League,

then scroll to find your team(s). Be sure

to “Favorite” them by tapping the star

on the right. Your selected teams will

be color-coded so you can easily manage

each of them. Slide17

Scoring Games from the mobile app is easy!

View the schedule for your team from

the Dashboard

Select the Game from the Schedule.

Note: You can also manage your team(s)

Roster, View Standings, Pitcher Stats, and

Tap the edit icon (pencil at top right)

Enter the game score.

Be sure to mark the score

as “FINAL” and tap “Save”

Note: Pitchers’ Innings Pitched will still

need to be entered on the website and/or

reported to the Scorekeeper.Slide20

Team Roster Management

To update your team Roster, make sure you are in “Edit Mode” = ON and click Mange Team button

This will launch the SportsEngine Team Center page >>>Slide21

Navigate to the Roster section

Click Add Players button >>> Slide22

Team Roster Management

Clicking “Add Players” will launch this window

Enter your Players and click the green

“Add Players” button.

Your players will now be available in the

Edit Stats drop-down menus (i.e. available for

entering Innings Pitched
