The Ducklings welcomed a few new friends to their class and all the children blasted off the term with the Seasons topic. They where shown pictures of different seasons and how things change. They had lots of fun activities; We made different paintings, growing plants, playing with mud, seeing the rain, looking at blossomed flowers. They each made different art work for each season, with their hand and feet, which was amazing to see how they reacted to the feeling of the paint as well as if it tickled them. The nursery rhymes was a fantastic fun topic for the children; they loved listening and dancing to the song of the nursery rhymes, they loved playing in the sand seeing how sand could be moulded into a shape. We also had Book Character day which children dress up as any character from a story book, they all looked so cute! Story time is still a favourite with the children and they loved to feel the different textures that was in the books and seeing pictures, they all just anted to hold the book and page through them. They are all becoming quite talkative in the classroom and are beginning to mumble while enjoying each other’s company, especially at snack and lunch time, they talked and laugh to each other and even try sharing foods.Picnic day was so much fun, all the children sat outside on the mat having snacks with friends.Thank you.Ms. Danielle
