After carefully putting all the Christmas decoration away, Woodpeckers came back ready to explore and learn more on the Spring term. Great friendships continued to develop from the previous term. Children began to learn the topic of Seasons. Learning about the sequence of the seasons, how weather changes from spring to winter and what are the seasonal activities. In our science class children planted their own seeds and made the rain in a plastic cup!Humpty Dumpty was a fantastic topic for children, learning about balancing and how to build the wall stronger to protect him! The children have been learning about addition and subtraction in math activities. When learning about Old Mc Donald’s life routine, in our little farm was a perfect ending to our second term topic. This term had an interesting line up of events such as Sport day and International Book Character day ,which brought so much happy moments to our classroom. With the participation of our lovely parents we had a small good bye Party for woodpecker’s teacher assistant Ms. Mary. The children shared food and kissed her goodbye.Waiting for more amazing days to come!Ms. Mahsa
