Is there a deadline to take the HESI A2? Yes, the exam must be taken by the application deadline 5 . Is th er e a m i n i m u m s c o re ? Y e s, the re qu i r e ment f or th i s in s t i t u t i on is a m i n im um c umu l a t i ve s c ore of 8 0 %. 6 . How many times can I retake the HESI A 2 ? The HESI A 2 may be taken two times during an admission period (August 1 st - January 15 th , January 16 th - August 1st). The most recent score will be used. 7 . How long must I wait between HESI A 2 attempts? An applicant must wait 6 weeks between HESI A 2 test dates. 8 . How recent of a HESI A 2 score is accepted? The applicant must re - test if your HESI A 2 score is greater than 1 year old. 9 . What to bring to the Testing Center The applicant will be required to present one valid, government - issued photo ID (e.g., driver's license or passport). The identification document must be in Latin characters and contain your photograph. All other personal items must be locked in a locker for test security purposes, so please limit what you bring to the testing center. 10 . What Time to arrive at the Testing Center Plan to arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment to allow time for check - in procedures. If late in arriving, the applicant will not be allowed to test and will forfeit the exam fee. 1 1 . Payment Payment methods available include Visa, MasterCard and American Express. 1 2 . Reschedule/Cancel Policy The applicant must do so at least five calendar days prior to your appointment, or additional fees or fee forfeiture may apply. You may use the Reschedule/Cancel option on this Web site or call Prometric's contact center at: 800 - 481 - 6457; Prometric' s Web site is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For reschedule requests made thirty calendar days or more prior to the appointment date no fee is assessed. For those made less than thirty, but more than five calendar days prior to the appointment date a fee of $15 is assessed per request. For those made less than five calendar days prior to the appointment date a fee of $60 is assessed per request. For cancellations made five or more calendar days prior to the appointment date a full refund will be given. For those made less than five calendar days prior to the appointment date no refund will be given. Scheduling Online In order to schedule online, an e - mail address must be provided. Prometric will send a n e - mail confirming the appointment. If the applicant does not have an e - mail address, please call the appropriate Regional Registration Center.
