More & updated details can be found at www.geu.ac.in About the Department The Depar tment of Mathematics was created to improve the analytical skills of the students of different disciplines of the university by teaching them fundamentals and basics of advanced level courses of mathematics and allied subjects like, operations research, co mputer based numerical and statistical techniques, discrete structures, graph theory, statistics etc. The expert syllabus committee consisting of the faculty members from the pioneer institutes to keep the students of the university quiet updated revises t he syllabus of the different subjects of mathematics time to time. The new subjects of mathematics have been introduced at graduate and postgraduate level of engineering. The department actively participates in the design and development of various courses of under graduate and postgraduate programs in different disciplines as per their requirements. The department has published research papers and books with IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, Emerald, Taylor & Francis, McGraw - Hill, World Scientific, Inderscience, I GI Global and many other publishers.
