It may seem silly to study mythology in todays world but many inventions, products, and technology are actually named and inspired by the stories of the Greek, Roman, and Norse gods and goddess. . Mythology also tells us what it important to the culture of the people that create the myths. We can get a better understanding of what is important to a group by the myths surrounding them. .
