Rebranding to Royal London The company who administer your pension – Scottish Life, will be rebranding to Royal London from the end of November 2014 What is changing? All the other brands within Royal London will also be rebranded While the name and the look and feel of the company are changing, nothing else is – so there will be minimal impact on you 2
3 Royal London isn’t a new brand. They’ve been around since 1861 and they’ve owned Scottish Life and other brands for many years They’re the UK’s largest mutual life and pensions company. Uniting under one brand will allow them to: Highlight the benefits that mutuality brings Promote one brand Communicate with one voice Rebranding to ROYAL LONDON Why are they RETIRING THE SCOTTISH LIFE NAME?
REBRANDING TO ROYAL LONDON As well as a new name, they’ll also be adopting the new Royal London pelican logo (known as Gilbert to his friends). You’ll start to see Gilbert appearing on your pension communications from November 2014 They’ll also be using new quirky, distinctive and British imagery across your pension communications too INTRODUCING GILBERT the PELICAN 4
