Step 1

Analyzation of Money

Identify and explain various symbols, designs, and number on the dollar billSlide3

The FrontSlide4

Washington

President George Washington appears on the $1 bill as a symbol of trust. He is nationally recognized by everyone- from kindergarteners to the elderly. On various bills various presidents will appear, such as President Abraham Lincoln on the $5 dollar bill and President Andrew Jackson on the $20 dollar bill.

U.S. Treasury Seal

This is the U.S. Treasury Seal that is seen to the right of the President’s face. The green seal states, “THE DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY-1789” The stars that separate the two fragments of the seal represent the original 13 colonies. The scales represent justice and the key represents authority. Slide6

Step 2

Create your own money

Create your own kind of dollar bill and describe what you did to the bill and why.Slide17

The Twelve Dollar Bill

In the show,

Doctor Who,

there lives an alien, otherwise known as a Time Lord, who travels through time in space with various companions (usually female). In Season 8, Episodes 11 and 12 of the rebooted series (2005-), the Doctor was “elected” to be President of the World. This currency pictures the President himself in a classic bill format. This bill is worth $12, for this is the ‘twelfth’ face of the President. Slide18

Step 3

$10,000,000

How would you spend $10 million dollars?

Spend all the money

No investment

Explain why you would purchase your desiresSlide19

A New Oboe

I currently own a beginner's oboe, which does not have all of the keys needed to perform every note in the range an oboe plays at. The first thing I would do with $10 million dollars would be to purchase a new oboe. (I would keep my first one of course)

Reeds

An oboist always needs reeds! First after receiving the $10 million dollars, I would purchase a dozen reeds to start me off. (That should last me about a year, right?) After that I would make purchases of reeds when needed.

Beatles and Monkees CDs

Always have been a big fan of the Beatles, and more recently the Monkees, and it’s tedious buying one album at a time, considering the fact I’d rather buy albums than iTunes. So, why not buy it all at once?

A Red 1968 Pontiac GTO

If anyone had exposure to any sort of large amount of money, they’d buy a car, right? Well I’m no exception. The only reason I would buy this car would be 1. If I lived somewhere where snow was not an issue. 2. It’s the same type of car used on

the Monkees

television show.

Donation

I would donate $5 thousand dollars to the Mancelona BAND program. This money HAS to be used for the band program ONLY. The band can do as they wish with this donation, such as buy new equipment, instruments, or even put a payment towards an auditorium.

PRICE:

$5,000Slide24

College & House?

In this presentation I am not going to bother with the specifics of buying a house or going to college, considering I’m not knowledgable in finding out how much either would cost. However, if I really did end up having $10,000,000 dollars, I would most definitely use that money towards that. So any extra money I would have from the previous donations and objects I would put towards college, a house, and the necessities of life; bills, food, water, clothing, etc.

PRICE:

$9,971,188.some odd amount of change.
