Accordingly, the structure will be placarded as unsafeto occupy pursuant to the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines and the Code of Iowa.If not occupied at the present time, the structure is to remain vacant and unoccupied until occupancy isauthorized by this offce. If the structure is occupied, it must be vacated immediately. In accordance withChapter 26-157 (fka 26-277) of Des Moines Municipal code, this structure is deemed unsafe, and creates a publicnuisance threatening to the health and safety of the public.Attached is a listing of the violations existing on the date of the inspection and a recommendation as to theremedial action required to correct such violations. Failure to correct these violations wil result in legal action.The violations noted must be corrected within 30 days from the date of this notice.
