In 2014 UEMS, SEAFORMEC and the Spanish Ministry of Health signed an agreement whereby in Spain SEAFORMEC is the institution in charge of validating the UEMS credits (ECCME´s) to credits of the Spanish National Health System.

* Currently, someone requests accreditation from UEMS, this receives their credits and, through SEAFORMEC, with a correction coefficient (different accreditation methodology) they are validated to credits of the National Health System. * All this under the agreement signed in 2014
