TYPES OF HOOKS1. Question – Ask a Question to create a picture in the reader’s mind. Example: Have you ever been so afraid your fingers and toes grow dangerously cold?2. Quote – A line from a book, show, movie or person.Example: “Be the change you want to see” - Gandhi3. Onomatopoeia – Sound Words.Example: Boom! Pow! 4. Snapshot Setting: A quick picture with details of the setting.Example: In the middle of the lush forest was one ancient solitary ash tree. It roots protruded out in all directions creating little seats for critters of the woods.Slide2
