Building Emergency Coordinator (BEC)
A BEC is a pre-identified point of contact designated by a department / college for an assigned space within a building. BECs provide pertinent building or departmental information relating to their area to public safety officials in emergency situations. BECs also relay information from public safety officials back to their areas through the receipt of email communications and / or course instruction.Slide8
