12. 5/5/201612- There is not any legislation underpinning data collection.- In the absence of legislation, we collect data from the institutions with out any interruption.- The ways used in collecting data is formal letters, phone, e-mail.- MEMR collect these types of data: - Daily, Monthly and yearly Data used in conducting energy balance and annual reports. - Other data from surveys which is belong to the final energy consumption in all sectors, households, industry, agriculture, transportation, etc.Collecting Data

13. Communication with data provider- MEMR has a good relation with all Institutions of the sectors, so the data which comes from these providers covers all MEMR needs.- If we notice any mistakes or suspicious numbers, we contact the data provider to verify them, also we have regular meetings.5/5/201613

14. The data which was collected is entered and stored as a database, then we do many treatments on it.In case of energy balance we convert the data to (TOE) by using IEA conversion factors. In case of surveys we analyze the data by (SPSS) programs to achieve our goals from the surveys. All these treatments were done by computers. It is very easy to notice errors especially in energy balance.Data Processing5/5/201614
