What Is a Dream Catcher?Slide3

Ojibwe First Nations tribe.
In their myth, Spider Woman (named
Asibikaashi) protects her children (the Natives) by spinning webs to catch evil.
When the Natives disperse across the land, they begin to make their own webs (in the form of dream catchers) since she cannot be everywhere at once.
