Bylaw 15 – Financial AidEvery coach must take and continue to take the NCAA Coaches Exam until a passing score (80%) is achieved. Until the passing score is achieved, no off-campus recruiting contacts or evaluations are permitted.Slide12

In your office or cubicle, place a recruiting log and unofficial visit form on the wall or by the phone or computer and record all phone calls, e-mail correspondence (with attachments), evaluations and contacts as they happen, instead of trying to remember information several weeks after it occurs.Slide21

In your office or cubicle, place a recruiting log and unofficial visit form on the wall or by the phone or computer and record all phone calls, e-mail correspondence (with attachments), evaluations and contacts as they happen, instead of trying to remember information several weeks after it occurs.

It would also be helpful to place a recruiting calendar in your office and home, so you will be fully aware of any NCAA dead periods, contact periods, evaluation and quiet periods.Slide22

It would also be helpful to know and understand CARA (Countable Athletic ally Related Activities) and what counts towards your team’s and individual student-athlete’s countable daily and weekly hours. Also, what constitutes “voluntary” activities as well.Slide25
