Approximately 2,034 students were included in the start enrollment total for FSSE during its first full year of implementation with 1,804 students included in the end enrollment. From Fall Semester 2014 through Summer Semester 2015, there was a 3% decline in the number of students withdrawing from FSSE.

Successful Completion Rate
Approximately 1,303 students successfully completed FSSE in its first full year of implementation. A breakdown of students who successfully completed FSSE for each term follows. The successful completion rate improved from Fall Semester 2014 to Summer Semester 2015 by 16%. Slide16

Moving Ahead
What have we learned?Generally, the students liked the course and saw benefit in the
course. They appreciated faculty motivating them, sharing life stories and relating lectures to real life.
Generally, the students appreciated how the course was taught (PowerPoint lectures, cooperative learning, challenging).
Students appreciated feedback on assignments, to questions via email, 1:1 assistance, and time for completing assignments.
Overwhelmingly, students were pleased with instructors. Areas they demonstrated to be important were positive, enthusiastic, knowledgeable instructors.
