Slide11Use YOUR Library
Do you know where your local library is?
What are the benefits of using your local library?
Library cards are a great gift for your kids.
(This makes a great Christmas gift!)
Slide12Library Cards for Children
The parent or guardian must have a card first. To get one you need to bring in proof of residency and a photo I.D. and then fill out a small application.
The library will add your child’s name onto your account and give you a separate card for your child.
Your child must be at least 5 years old to have their own card.
Slide13Exceptions
American Fork Library – The child can get a card without the parent/guardian having a card.
Pleasant Grove Library – Child must be 6 years or older.
Payson Library – Child must be 8 years or older.
Slide14You don’t need to spend a lot of money to have a great Christmas.
Low Cost Gift Ideas
Give the gift of warmth:
Put hot chocolate packets into a cool mug with a candy cane to stir. Wrap it into cellophane and tie it closed with a ribbon.
Compile a history
by gathering cool stories, historical accounts and photographs from grandparents, ancestors and other cherished family memories
.
101 reasons
(or less if you want)
why I love you
. Take 101 kisses and attach 101 reasons why you love the person.
Make a picture frame
by using a cereal box or any other cardboard, cut it into a square with a square center removed. Cover it with your favorite paper or fabric and put a picture behind it.
