FEES and DEADLINES

UIL Region 22 Music - Entry Fee Schedule

 

All fees must be in the hands of the Executive Secretary

30 days

prior to the contest with the completed entry form. Please print out the invoice from Texas Music Forms and submit that with your fee payment. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. School district, booster club or money orders will be accepted. Please make checks payable to

UIL Region 22 Music.

 

Marching Band

– includes video recording and State fee $400.00

Entry Fee paid after the 30-day deadline $800.00

Mariachi

– includes audio recording $200.00 (MAY CHANGE)

Entry Fee paid after the 30-day deadline $400.00

Concert and Sight Reading

- includes audio recording

This includes High School and Middle School, Band, Choir, Orchestra 1

and 2

nd

groups $400.00

Entry Fee paid after the 30-day deadline $800.00

Fee for an additional performing group (third band etc.) $175.00

NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 5 (FIVE) BUSINESS DAYS FOLLOWING THE POSTING OF THE CONTEST SCHEDULE!

Solo and Ensemble

Solos - $8.00 per person

Ensembles- $8.00 per person.

EXAMPLE – QUARTET WOULD TOTAL $32.00

LATE FEE - $10.00 PER PERSON, IN ADDITION TO THE $8.00 ENTRY FEE

EXAMPLE – LATE FEE FOR A SOLO, $18.00

NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED 10 (TEN) BUSINESS DAYS

PRIOR TO THE DATE

OF THE SOLO AND ENSEMBLE EVENT. ADJUSTMENTS AND EDITS CAN BE MADE UP TO 5 (FIVE) DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF THE EVENT!

Professional Acknowledgement Form

If you are new to a campus, this form must be completed, you the teacher keeps a copy, and a second copy goes to either your Superintendent or Principal.

The form can be found on the UIL Music Website. Click the music events tab and scroll to the Forms section.

The

21-22 PML will go live on the UIL website on September 1

st

and will include documents with EDITS & DELETIONS

Over 580 new works were added to the

wind solo lists

. Encourage directors to peruse these lists as several incurred many changes, especially piccolo, flute, alto sax, trumpet, euphonium, and bass trombone.

Over 160

new string ensembles

were added including several collections with multiple options to the Class 2 & 3 categories.

All

will be reviewed in 2021 - 2022

Checks and Form 1’s need to be turned into me on or before the contest entry deadline. CALL ME IF THERE IS A PROBLEM. But plan ahead so there won’t be a problem.
