A humanitarian crisis is unfolding in Myanmar and Bangladesh.

Violence in Myanmar’s Rakhine State has forced hundreds of thousands of people to flee their homes.Slide3

More than

400,000

Rohingya people have fled for their lives across the border into Bangladesh's Cox's Bazar district.

As many as

15,000

people are crossing the border into Bangladesh every day.

Unknown numbers of people are displaced in northern Rakhine State.

The refugees escaping to Bangladesh have walked for miles on end.

Most haven’t eaten in days.

They urgently need your support

They have no money for food, shelter or medicine. The threat of disease and hunger is real.Slide5

Humaira

had to walk 60 km to reach camps in Bangladesh.

Humaira made the journey while nine months pregnant, after her husband and father were killed in gunfire.Slide6

Christian Aid is working with local partners in Myanmar and Bangladesh to provide shelter, food, water and sanitation.Slide7

You can help vulnerable families today.

£26 could provide one family with food for 15 days.

£50 could provide ten families with hygiene kits.£208 could provide shelter for 15 families.Slide8

Compassionate God, who loves all of humanity, we pray for an end to the violence

for peace, protection and provision in Myanmar and Bangladesh. In your mercy, hear our prayer.

Amen. Slide9

Please give to our
