Your cells respire more and therefore require oxygen and glucose to be delivered to them.The heart rate and breathing rate increases to serve the cells with glucose and oxygen.

Heat is produced as a biproduct of respiration which means the body temperature increases.The body produces sweat to keep the body temperature normal.Slide6
