Monthly Direct Reimbursement

USHL

Per Game Bonus – Paid at the End of the

Year

ACHA (College Club)Slide3

Monthly Direct Reimbursement

USHL

Pay 8% of the cost of a gallon of gas/mile

Example: $3.29/gallon equals $0.264/mile

If gas goes to $3.00 and below, they pay 10% the cost of a gallon of gas/mile.

Rate is determined by cost of Standard Grade fuel at nearest gas station to Coordinators house on the 10

th

of each month.

Paid directly by the USHL on the 15

th

of the month via direct deposit.

A local game is considered within 50 miles, one way and does NOT pay mileage.

The worksheet automatically takes this into effect.Slide4

NAHL

Pay $0.22/mile

League automatically deducts miles for local travel

0-249 miles (-0 miles)

250-499 (-50 miles)

500-1500 (-100 miles)

1501-2499 (-150 miles)

2500 and up (-200 miles)

Deductions are based on total miles driven during a month.

Deductions will be taken automatically.

Submit miles based on Mileage Calculator

Paid directly by the NAHL within one month of submission deadline via direct deposit.Slide5

SPHL

Mileage is based off a mileage pool paid by all the teams.

Mileage will not be less than $0.15/mile

Mileage varies by number of games played/month.

Average last year was $0.198/mile.

Paid through Ranger via an “Adjustment” on the 25

of the month by USA Hockey via Steve

Tatro

General Rules

We do NOT pay mileage for rental cars in Alaska (NAHL)

Must include EVERY game assigned by the ODP in your worksheet.

Why

?

Submit

miles

for games you drove YOUR car.

You still have to include games that you didn’t drive

Enter ZERO miles

Failure to follow this rule will result in immediate dismissal from the ODP

If you rode in someone’s car or flew as paid for by ODP, enter ZERO miles.Slide13

General Rules

Submit only for miles YOU drove in YOUR car

If you rode with someone else – ZERO miles

If you flew on a USAH/NAHL flight – ZERO miles

If you were provided a rental car – ZERO miles

NAHL Alaska

If a league is paying for your travel, ZERO milesSlide14

General Rules – Cont.

Each row of the worksheet is for one “LEG” of a trip.

Example: Live in DSM, work in Lincoln and drove home after game.

Leg 1 – DSM to LINC

Leg 2 – LINC to DSM

Do not put “round trips” in a row.

The game you are going to is responsible for your travel. That’s the league you will enter into “LEAGUE you were driving to”.

The last game you work prior to driving home is responsible for your travel.

Not the last “Direct Mileage Paying League”

FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS AND YOU’LL BE FINE! – SERIOUSLY, JUST READ THEM!!!!!Slide15

Mileage Alternative

Officials may find “alternative” means of transportation to their games.

Air

Train

Rental Car

Must prove to Coordinator of Travel that trip will not cost a league additional mileage money.

Example: Live in Chicago, work in OMA/LINC and fly to OMA when could have hooked up with crew in DSM.Slide16
