Directions

Seven cards are dealt to each player and the player to the left of the dealer goes first by drawing a card from the remaining cards.

If the card matches two others in the player’s and in the same family, the player lays down the book of cards and gives the answer to each fact.

If an incorrect answer is given, the cards must remain the player’s hand until the next turn.

After the player lays down cards or is unable to do so, the player discards by placing a card from his or her hand face up beside the deck so that all the other discards can be seen.

The next player may choose from the stack or pick up the previous discard. If the player can match it with two cards in his or her hand.

If there are two cards in the discard pile that match one in the player’s hand, the player may pick up both cards.

The player doesn’t have to take the whole pack, provided he or she can give the correct answers of the cards between the two desired cards.

Also, during a turn a player may lay down one or more cards that match the other players’ books.

When a player is out of cards he or she says, “Rummy” and wins the game.
