UCI Email Sign up for a UCI email accounthttp://www.oit.uci.edu/email-calendar/start-students /UCInetID@uci.eduClass emails will be sent to uci.edu addressCheck this (and all) addresses regularly!Strongly recommended to reply within 24 hours (or at least within 48 hours)This is important! Email is the academic’s primary means of communication Please don’t make us (or your faculty mentors, grad students, professors, or TAs) “chase you down” by having to send you multiple messages before you will respond. This makes you look bad - and it frustrating – and even a bit disrespectful - to the person who is sending the messages. Reply to ALL messages (even if it is just to say, “Got it, thanks!”) EXCEPTION: Group email that does not ask for a response Away from email for >48 hours? Put vacation msgMay want to have uci email forwardedhttp://www.oit.uci.edu/email-calendar/deliverypoint/Changing email (or physical) address?
