Vayle's

my associate; he's my brother. He just happens to be making the arrangements for the meetings and helping me along… We're just all one great big family and one big Body. We're not one above the other one; we're all just the same; we're a unit of God working together.58-0301Slide5

THE.CHURCH.AND.ITS.CONDITION

92 I'm

talking to the Branham

Tabernacle… That's

what makes the Dove take Its flight. Just let somebody just start a little something around the church, and the first thing, "Oh, is that so? You don't mean so?" Right then the Holy Ghost goes, fly away. It just can't stand that kind of spirit. As

long as that lamb nature leaves you, then the Holy Ghost is gone. And that's what's the matter today. That's the reason the people is in the condition they are, is because they let the wrong spirit come into their heart, into their life. The Bible said that's the reason there's so many sick and afflicted among us, is because of such things. We must be gentle. We must be peaceful.

BLIND.BARTIMAEUS

The

world's a dying, not for a better economics. The church is dying, not for better buildings, a bigger denomination.

But it's dying for somebody to reach out a hand of love, to show that we care one for the other. And that's the very sign that Jesus told us that, "By this all men would know that you were My disciples," when we got love one for the other.61-0124Slide7

Q & A: LAW.HAVING.A.SHADOW

That's

where

the Holy Spirit only speaks to edify the church. "If you speak with tongues and don't correctly interpretation, don't do it in the church; do it at home." That's what the Bible said. [I Cor. 14:26-38] Then, and if that's true, then the Spirit of God is upon you. Maybe It'll speak and say, "

All of you move from this section of the city, tomorrow there's coming a cyclone that'll sweep all this section out.” Listen, speaking in tongues is not too accurate. Paul said, "Let it be first judged by two or three witnesses." Let

2-3 with Divine judgment, judge it: One man with the Holy Spirit, level, sound in doctrine, say, "I believe God was in that."Slide9

03/01/15The Body 2

9

And

the next one raise up, and say,

"God was in that."

Got to have one more. One more raise up, and say, "God was in that." Then, let what part of the church is in this section, flee as hard as they can. Get out of there. If tomorrow, the storm comes through, and blows it up, know God is with you.

But if it doesn't do it, you better be careful, you got the wrong spirit among you. You better get back up to the altar, and get this thing prayed out. All the church gather, and that poor person that spoke in tongues ought to come around the altar, and say, "Lord, help me. I don't want to be anointed with that. That's wrong. Get the thing off of me. Let me get right with You.” So, be careful, church. Now, that's true Bible teaching.

GALATIANS 6:1-3

1

Brethren

, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

2

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. 03/01/15

25 That

there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. 26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

sabbaths

. 31 Regard

not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God

. 32 Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD.

I TIMOTHY

5:1-16

1 Rebuke not an elder

, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren; 2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity. 3 Honour

widows that are widows indeed. 4 But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God. 5 Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and

continueth in supplications and prayers night and day. 4

But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God.Slide14

“Widows Indeed”

Paul

defined “a widow who was really in

need

” with the following criteria.

1) had no relatives to care for her (4)2) was prayerfully dependent on God (5)3) lived for God rather than for pleasure (6)4) was over sixty (9a)5) had been faithful in marriage (9b)

6) was well known for her good deeds (10)03/01/15The Body 2

ACTS 6:

1-4

1 And

in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration. 2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.

3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. 4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. Slide16

MATTHEW 23:13

13

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in

. 14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.Slide17

MARK 12:

41-44

41 And

Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. 42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. 43 And he called unto him his disciples, and

saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: 44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.Slide18

“Widow of Nain”

LUKE 7:11-15

11 And

it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.

12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her. 13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not

. 14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. 15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother. Slide19

LUKE

18:1-8

1

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3 And

there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5 Yet because this widow troubleth

me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? Slide20

I CORINTHIANS

7:7-9

7 For

I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. 8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. 9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. Naomi & Ruth 1:11-13

11 And

Naomi said, Turn again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? are there yet any more sons in my womb, that they may be your

husbands? 12 Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons; 13 Would

ye tarry for them till they were grown? would ye stay for them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand of the LORD is gone out against me.Slide22

MALACHI

3:1-6

1 Behold

, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. 2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth

? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: 3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness. 4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years. And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me,

saith

the LORD of hosts. 6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.Slide24

16 And

now, that isn't saying... You let God tell you what to do

. And when God tells you that Mrs. Jones over there is a widow woman, and needs some clothes, and He speaks to you to go, help that widow woman, you go help her. You do that. Because listen, friends, all the money that we have will pass away someday

. It won't be no more. It's just the eternal things. That's the things that we have in our soul.50-0822 Slide25

THE.INVISIBLE.UNION

1 I

told you: each time we come, there is someone missing. And if we shall come back next year, the Lord tarries, there'll be somebody

missing. One

was very, very close to me in heart, spirit. That was Brother Lyle.

Bro. Palmer was a great servant of Christ. I can remember Brother Jack telling me about his dedicated life to God. They were carpenters, together. And said he would be eating his lunch, have his sandwich in his hand, eating a sandwich and reading his Bible

. He done some mighty great things, Bro. Palmer did. He's a good carpenter, a good father to his children, a lovely family. He raised them all to serve the Lord. As far as I know, they're all saved and filled with the Holy Ghost.

6 Gracious Heavenly Father, just speaking of this great servant, I missed him, tonight, him shaking my hands, and that cunning little smile he always had when he said, "God bless you, Brother Branham," when we'd walk in the door. I know he's come up to Your House, tonight. So I pray, dear God, that You'll let the fruits, his works that follow him, be great, continuing on with his children, his wife. We pray that You'll bless her, Lord. You said You would be a husband to

"the widows that were widows indeed."

I pray for our Sister Palmer and for all the children. I know how to sympathize with both, losing a companion and also losing my dad

PARADOX

WITNESSES

185 And the first thing you know, when the brook dried up, He said, "Now, I've prepared a widow to take care of you [Elijah]." My, what a place for a preacher to go: to a widow's house. But God said, "I prepared

it…" So he goes down there, and he was walking along down the street…He seen a woman in the yard; he said, "That's her, so I'll just walk by.“ He said, "Go, bring me a little drink of water, and a cake, in your hand." She

said, "As the Lord lives, and your soul never dies, I have only enough meal in the barrel and enough oil in the cruse to make one little cake. And I'm out here baking... getting two sticks."Slide28

LUKE

4:24-26

24 And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country. 25 But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land; 26

But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.Slide29

03/01/15The Body 2

29

And said, "And I'm going to make the cake for me and my son. And as soon as we eat that, we die

.“ He

said, "Go, fetch me a cake first." Amen.

190

"Seek ye first the Kingdom of God." Have you witnessed that to be the truth? Put God first. Pay your tithes first. Pay everything first. Pay God. Pray first at morning… Give God the first place in everything. You'll be a

witness. She had two sticks… brought the little hoecake, the last drop of water she had. And the prophet stood there, eat it, drank the water. Said, "Now, go back and make one for you and your son. For, THUS SAITH THE LORD, the barrel will not go empty, neither will the cruse go dry, until the day God sends rain upon the earth

.“ A witness. That widow was a witness in the land.53-0405Slide30

AT.THY.WORD 3 A person who lives their life for

theirself

, lives a selfish life. We must live for others:

"Bear ye one another's burdens and so fill full the law of Christ."

And we got to have a feeling for one another.

And therefore, when you do all you know how to do, then when you do lay down at night, well, you have the consolation knowing that you--you tried your best. I can't make everyone believe. That's impossible. Jesus couldn't do that when He was on earth. And I know there'll just be a few that believes. But if anything I can add to help the Gospel, that's my duty of being here, is to try to help somebody along the way
