Superintendent Dina Elliott and Principal Patrick Cruet presented the award to the company’s account manager, John Sutton. The honor is presented annually at the Fall Program Advisory meeting. Since 1919, Keen Compressed Gas has been a supplier of welding equipment, as well as industrial, medical, laboratory and specialty gasses in the mid-Atlantic region. The company has been a key partner with CCTEC for more than 20 years, providing service and expertise in the welding field. TEC officials say Keen works closely with the school to help keep the curriculum current and students industry-ready. In addition, Keen has assisted in the maintenance of the welding department by donating new welding screens, painting the welding booths and outfitting the classroom with industry literature and banners.
