Keen_CommunityGivingPolicy NEW 5/17/2018 C OMMUNITY G IVING P OLICY POLICY This policy is implemented for any request made to Keen Compressed Gas Co. Keen Compressed Gas Co. will review and give fair consideration to all requests that fall within the guidelines of this policy. Approval of community giving requests are granted based on budgetary allotments determined on a yearly basis, specifically supporting local programs focusing on children, military and emergency serv ices personnel, and those relating to the education and betterment of the welding and gases industry. Only 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, which meet our community giving guidelines and focus areas, are considered. Keen contributions will not be used for organizations that discriminate based on creed, race, religion or sexual orientation. We would like to respond favorably to all requests ; however the needs are far greater than our allocated resources. Therefore it is not possible for us to accommodate all requests. PROCEDURE All requests must be submitted to the Marketing Department of Keen Compressed Gas Co. via our Community Giving Request Form for consideration. It is recommended that your organization attach documents to support your request and donation purpose, such as an event advertisement/flyer. Please also include a copy of your 501(c)(3) tax exempt form. Please give a t least 60 days processing time for all donation requests. We will notify you of our d ecision.
