Osborne SkillsUSA desired to help group home teens for Christmas. The Atlanta Youth Council suggested that we sponsor 6 kids at Chris Kids Dekalb –
JourneyZ Location. Osborne High School SkillsUSA went to work to help these 6 boys have a happy holiday season! SkillsUSA held a fundraiser and sold Christmas grams to the entire student body, faculty and staff at $5.00 to cover gifts and wrapping. SkillsUSA members worked as Santa's elves by assembling grams and delivering them to students. SkillsUSA managed to raise over $500! Several teachers and community leaders donated items as well. We were able to several of the items that were on the Chris Kids boys' wish lists and a lot
more! Students also donated gifts for boys and girls ages 3-10! The boys received Kobe Bryant sneakers, Air Max Sneakers, Pumas, Adidas sneakers, MP3 players, Gift Cards, Snap back baseball caps, celebrity designer clothing, and much more! We were very happy to serve the boys at Chris Kids!
