Manufacturers are able to submit all products on WYDOT’s webpage.
There is a separate email for the QPL at
dot-qpl@wyo.gov
.
Contractors can view current approved products.
Manufacturer must submit all products separately under the existing product types. For each product type there will be a list of Acceptance Criteria in Step 1.

Feedback from BASF and GCP Applied Technologies Inc.:
Both vendors said it took a couple of products before they got the hang of it.
Both also indicated it would be nice to be prompted after submitting one product to add more products and have the" submitted by" and "manufacture" info be saved. However, they both used a chrome browser and these sections auto filled for the most part when the first field started to be entered.Both said it would be nice to review all entries for correctness before final submittal.Both vendors also suggested spell check be available.Overall both vendor's liked the application and said it is definitely easier than the current process.From my side in approving it would be nice for SME's to have editing capabilities to correct Manufacturer Info, such as manufacturer name, address, zip-code or typo's.

WYDOT’s Side
A Subject Matter Expert (SME) gets an email notification when a product is submitted for their product type. An SME can view all Submitted, Pending, Denied, and Approved Products.
Each SME must create the Acceptance Criteria for each product type with reference to a Spec Number and the number of years they can remain Approved before submitting their product again.
