Below you will find several important items as we prepare for the WPLA Mid - Amateur & Ed Hoffmann Senior Champion ship at Janesville Riverside on July 11 th - 12 th , 2020. It is imperative that players come prepared to the event and follow all the guidelines we have set forth. Please take a few minutes to review all documents to make sure you are ready to go. BEFORE YOU ARRIVE 1. Review our Release and Waiver, Guidelines and Procedures. WPLA Release and Waiver, Guidelines and Procedures . 2. If you do not have the WSGA App on your phone, please downloa d it. One player in each group will be asked to score for the group using the WSGA mobile app. 3. Please have your phone fully charged and possibly bring a portable battery charger if you normally have battery issues. 4. CADDIES – Caddies are allowed for thi s event and MUST observe and agree to the WPLA Release and Waiver, Guidelines and Procedures . Failure to do so will result in remova l from the event facility. 5. SPECTATORS – Spectators will be allowed and MUST observe and agree to the WPLA Release and Waiver, Guidelines and Procedures . Failure to do so will result in removal from the event facility. Spectator carts w ill NOT be available. DAY OF EVENT Complete descriptions regarding Rules of Golf modifications (flagstick, definition of holed, bunkers, etc.) can be viewed on the WPLA Release and Waiver, Guidelines and Procedures and Notice to Players. ARRIVAL TIME – Players are asked to arrive at the host site no more than 45 minutes before their scheduled starting time. No registration, plea se arrive at your starting hole five (5) minutes prior to your starting time. MOTORIZED CARTS – Allowed for th e event. Players that paid the entry fee plus motori zed cart fee w ill be guaranteed a cart during the round . Pla yers are allowed to ride with another player within the g roup if they both feel com fo

If a player who did not pay for a cart with the entry fee would like to take a cart, it will be subject to availability and an additional expense to the player. PRACTICE – The practice facilities will be open for players prior to their scheduled starting time. Players should not practice on any practice facilities more than 45 minutes prior to their starting time. SCORING – All scoring will be submitted electronically using the WSGA app. • One (1) player from each group will be assigned to score the group using their mobile device. • Scorer will receive a link/code at the 1 st tee that will allow them to enter the scoring portal. • It is recommended players keep track of scoring on their own scorecard. • Scorecards will be made available to players who wish to keep their score for verification purposes of digital scoring in the gr oup. • Players will verify scores with WPLA Staff member after the completion of their round. FOOD & BEVERAGE – Available for purchase at the host facility. There will be NO water coolers on the course so plan accordingly. Beverage carts will be available on the course. The clubhouse will be open and there will be a limit to the number of individuals inside at one time. END OF THE ROUND – There will be no official scoreboards at the host facility. All results can be found on the WSGA app and event websit e. Players are asked to leave the scoring area once they have certified their scores with the WPLA scoring committee. WEATHER DELAY – In the event of a weather delay, all players, caddies and spectators will be asked to proceed to their vehicles. We look forward to seeing you all at the event and appreciate your cooperation as we attempt to conduct our events safely and professionally .
