Mr Richard Sasaki Objectives Understand the meaning of rational numbers Understand the meaning of surd Be able to check whether a number is a surd or not Be able to simplify surds Rational Numbers. By Celeste . Evaluation. All of these features in this slideshow all have the same colour scheme which is pink with some black in them to make them stand out. The colour of my pyjama shorts is pink with light blue and some black which outlines the designs in the shorts therefore I think that having light pink and black and maybe some blue in my tee shirt design would look the best. The words ‘be classy’ and ‘classy’ also suit the pyjama shorts which I have because they are in cursive writing and my pyjama shorts have fancy swirls and patterns which suit that type of writing in them. The features that most appeal to me in this image slideshow are the black cursive writing words which say ‘classy’ and ‘be classy’. I personally like both of these features because they would suit the pattern on my pyjama shorts and they are simple but also effective and will stand out in my designs. The other feature that appeals to me in this slideshow is the pink bows. I like these pink bows because they can be either big or small in any pyjama design and stand out either way. All of these features appeal to me but these two appeal to me the most and I would like to incorporate them both into my own designs. . Dr Frost. Objectives: . Appreciate the difference between a rational and irrational number, and how surds can be manipulating both within brackets and fractions.. Learning Objectives. By the end of this topic, you’ll be able to answer the following types of questions:. What Is A Surd ?. Calculate the following roots:. = 6. = 2. = 3. = 5. = 2. All of the above roots have exact values and are called . rational. .. Now use a calculator to estimate the following roots:. By: Karen Overman. Objective.
