Departing Luggage named clearly on a tag Medications tobe handed in in labelled, sealed bags , with clear, written administering instructions . Parents to wait outside school to wave us off

Meals The children need to bring a packed lunch in a disposable, named carrier bag on Monday for their lunch. The Pioneer Centre’s meals are self-serve and always have multiple options to choose from, so the children will have plenty of choice for each meal. Dietary slip will have your child’s intolerances/medical diet on for The Pioneer Centre to cater for.

Spending money and electronics The children are welcome to bring a maximum of £5 to spend in the gift/tuck shop. To avoid misplaced monies, we ask that all children hand in their money in a named purse/wallet to their team leader who will keep it safe until they have an opportunity to spend it. Electronic devices are not permitted on the residential, so phones, iWatches , tablets etc are asked to be left at home.

Accommodation Each room has a maximum of 4 children, with the boys and girls sleeping on different floors to each other. All rooms are ensuite and are fitted with bath and shower facilities. Each floor has rooms set aside for leaders.

Rooms and activity groups The children have given 3 choices of who they would be happy to be in a room and group with. They will have at least 1 of their choices to share a room and group with. These will be shared with them when we arrive at the Pioneer Centre in case groups need to alter.
